In an effort to make the site look a bit more professional, I’ve gone through the pages that contain my short stories and I updated them so that they are more uniform in their presentation, so that all...
It’s been a little while since I last talked about my writing, so before I leave tomorrow for a short road trip with my brother Scott (we’re heading to San Antonio to get a little bro time) I...

I’m not sure if I’ll be a permanent or constant guest on this podcast since I’m not the person in charge of it, but I hope I’m able to be on as often as possible. It’s a lot of...
Well, the guys over at the Official Thread podcast asked me to come back on their show, but this time it wasn’t to talk about video game. Instead we talked about movies. Most of the discussions was...
Recently I was a special guest cohost on the Official Thread Podcast, which is a show all about video games from some of the fine posters at the Rotten Tomatoes forums. If you’d like to hear me wax on...
Man, it’s been a long while since I last posted. I keep saying that, and I keep promising to do better, but those promises don’t seem to be kept all that well, do they? I sincerely apologize for...
There are several writers whom I idolize. There’s of course Stephen King, my love for which I’ve spoken of many times in the past, and there’s Joss Whedon, whose work on Buffy, Angel, and...

I was born and raised an Army brat, spending many years living in different states, always on the move, always making new friends, always trying to fit in while finding my own path. I was raised on movies and video games across every imaginable genre and style, and the stories I write reflect that. I'm also a happily married fella and have been for over a decade. I and my wife Krista don't have any children, but the love we shower on our many dogs and cats fills our lives with joy. Along with writing, I'm also a podcaster. My show, the Dead Robots' Society, was created in 2007 to be a voice for aspiring writers trying to hone their craft and learn about publishing. It has twice been a finalist for a Parsec Award, and it's been host to many amazing conversations with people from all across the publishing industry. I'm also a co-host on The Hollywood Outsider, a weekly podcast about movies and television.
